Aaron Sorensen, CPO, President, and Founder of OPBS
Aaron has worked in the O&P industry since 1989. After spending many years working in the field while pursuing his education, then working full time as a practitioner, Aaron purchased Dillard Prosthetics and Orthotics in 2001, and incorporated the newly acquired practice as Restorative Health Services.
Expansion began immediately and today the practice services 5 markets in Middle Tennessee, including Nashville and surrounding areas.
He has spoken in state, national and international venues, including AAOP, AOPA and the Pacific RIM conference on numerous occasions.
In addition, he has attended AOPA billing and coding seminars on a regular basis over the course of the past seven years. His community outreach to the field includes, but is not limited to:
- Member of the AAOP State Licensure committee in 2006
- Member of the ABC orthotic exam review committee
- ABC orthotic examiner
- Member of the AOPA public relations and marketing committee
- Was a member of the AAOP census conference for cranial helmets and was published in the JPO supplement from the conference
- Various other publications for cranial helmets and business papers; one being a case study in an entrepreneurial journal
Wanda Miller, Billing Manager
Wanda began working in the billing and coding industry soon after receiving her CPC for medical billing in 1995. Throughout her professional career she has worked full-time in management for Ambulatory Surgery and as a corporate coder for United Surgical Partners International (USPI). In addition, she regularly attends various billing and coding seminars.
Her Coding & Billing skills and experience include:
- Software expertise in OPIE, Lytec, CollaborateMD, and Advantx
- Awarded Coder of the Year by United Surgical Partners International for 2005-2008
- Managed the billing and coding staff of three national healthcare organizations from 2005-2007.
- Administrator for OPBS
- Attends AOPA Coding and Billing seminars
